Take A Break – You Probably Need It

I just wanted to add a quick post today to remind everyone about something very important:
If you have been working yourself dry, and the days seem to fly by, and you are stressed about everything, it’s time to take a break. You need it. And you deserve it.
Most people are thinking ‘I would love a break, but I just can’t afford to stop working.’
I used to think it was all about logging hours online and updating my Squidoo Lenses, and launching new products every second of my life. But after working hard for too long, you really lose momentum. And the quality of your work suffers.
Take for example article writing. I’ve been writing a lot of articles to promote products lately, and at first my quality was top notch. I’m a student, so I can write pretty well. But recently I started noticing little errors that slipped past my editing process. Mispelled words, grammar mistakes, etc. etc.
After taking a break for a little bit (only about a day), my work improved a lot.
So sometimes a break is just what you need to freshen your perspective and put you back on top.
Go walk your dog, take your kids to the park, win a hot dog eating contest… whatever you want. Just do something besides staring at your damn computer.
I promise this will change your work for the better!
