Social Media Research Presentation – What Are You Learning?
Feb 27th
Here’s something I thought you might enjoy today – A slideshare from Mccann International on their social media research. If anyone is doing social media research right now, I’d be interested to hear about it. So leave a link in your comments, or @ me on Twitter (twitter.com/reubenrock). This may be an area that I investigate for my graduate work at University of Memphis. Who knows!
Either way, enjoy the presentation. I look forward to chatting with any socmed researchers out there. More >
Joel Comm’s Twitter Power

No big post for today, or the last couple weeks really. What have I been up to? Grad classes are killer right now, as in “stabbed in the gut” killer. New products in the works but coming along slowly. It’s hard to create time out of thin air, otherwise these projects might get done faster.
One thing I have done is visited my local bookstore yesterday. And the marketing section has been taken over! Thinking back 3 or 4 months, there were exactly ZERO books on social media marketing on those shelves. Must be the new hotspot because now there are about a dozen similar books. Most looked pretty useless – probably just trying to sponge off some of the clueless followers. But one stood out to me in a big way. And hell, I even spent $25 to get it right then. Thankfully, my wife was distracted… and I can justify it b/c I’m using Twitter for research at school. More >
