Is The Magic In The WordPress? Or Elsewhere?
I recently switched to using WordPress on every new site I create, and it’s been a wonderful experience. There’s very little chance I’ll switch back to HTML and table layouts ever again. Sometimes you have to search to figure out little things in WordPress, but most of the time there’s a plug-in to solve your problems. Awesome, right?
Well, since switching… I’ve started to notice something. Something pretty spectacular.
My new sites are ranking in Google very quickly. For pretty competitive keywords. I’m ecstatic because Adsense is finally making me a few bucks here and there, and these new page rankings are setting me up to do great things with these sites.
Not to mention, most of these new websites are on autopilot, or at least semi-autopilot. Very little work, new content rolling in daily, and increasing page rankings.
So maybe somebody else can answer my question – is the SEO magic in WordPress? Sure, I use the All-In-One SEO plugin, and the Google sitemap generator… but is that really all it takes to make a good natural ranking? If so, I’m going to charge full steam into affiliate sites this year. Set em up, automate them, plug in the affiliate links, and get great rankings. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am!!
What do you think, is WordPress really this great? Or am I unleashing some SEO magic somewhere else and I’m just too stupid/blind to see it?
Any insight would be helpful.
Until next time,
